3 Smile Friendly Things to Add To Your Stockings This Holiday

General Dentistry Tampa, FLChristmas time is all about spending time with the ones you love the most (and maybe even spoiling them along the way too). With your Christmas stockings hung all in a row, you may be planning out what you’re going to fill them with. Rather than filling them with the usual candy and sugary treats, we at Gentle Dentistry have created a list of smile friendly gifts instead.

Fun Flavored Toothpaste

Whether you have kids or adults to treat this Christmas, why not fill their stockings with something tasty like fun flavored toothpaste? Rather than sticking with traditional mint toothpaste, consider putting strawberry or chocolate flavored toothpaste inside of their stocking instead? Just make sure that it has fluoride in it and that it is ADA approved as well.

Year Supply Of Toothbrushes

Sometimes it can be hard to find enough things to put inside of stockings to make it look full. Because the ADA recommends that people swap out their toothbrush every two to three months, fill your loved one’s stockings with a year supply of toothbrushes; that way they always have one on hand.

Chewing Gum

As long as it’s sugar-free, chewing gum is a great way for you to fight against cavities. How? Chewing gum helps speed up your mouth’s natural production of saliva which works to fight off cavities. Plus, you can find sugar free gum in just about any type of flavor these days.

Christmas doesn’t have to be all about the sugar. To help protect your family’s teeth from cavities, make sure to add these things to your Christmas list. To learn more about how you can take better care of your family’s oral health, contact our Tampa office and call 813-922-3093.
