How Does a Dental Savings Plan Work?

Dental savings plans are available at Gentle Dentistry and work by providing patients with a set membership prices each year. This fixed price covers a range of treatments often performed to maintain oral health and wellness. Additionally, membership with our dental savings plans also provides higher discounts to added dental services and access to our financing plans and solutions for out-of-pocket dental costs. The most significant benefit is that they don’t have the exclusions and limitations typically seen with traditional dental insurance.

What Services are Covered Under Our Dental Savings Plans?

Below are the services included in our dental savings plans for patients without access to traditional dental insurance plans:

• Two doctor examinations – Patients must obtain examinations with our qualified and experienced dental providers. Evaluating the smile allows the dentist to physically look for signs of problems such as tooth decay or periodontal disease.
• Two standard/maintenance cleanings – After the initial evaluation, our dental hygienists will thoroughly clean the surfaces of the teeth and gums to remove plaque, tartar, and calculus. They will also floss between the teeth to remove any stuck food particles and ensure patients leave with a beautiful and healthy smile at the end of their appointments!
• Two oral cancer screenings – Oral cancer is a severe issue that can be caught with routine screenings. We offer oral cancer screenings at each recurring appointment, typically scheduled every six months for most of our current patients.
• Two fluoride treatments – Fluoride is a natural element that strengthens natural tooth enamel. In addition to being added to toothpaste, mouthwashes, and even city drinking water, it can also be manually applied to the surfaces of the teeth to further protect the smile from cavities and disease.
• All necessary dental X-rays – Dental X-rays allow dentists to see beyond what the eye can see, evaluating inside the teeth and the jaw bone. They are not taken at each appointment but may be done occasionally to monitor oral health and wellness.
• Savings on crowns, veneers, dentures, partials, and implant restorations – In addition to providing free services each year, such as the ones listed above, being a member of our dental savings plan offers you additional benefits, such as 10 percent off of certain restorative services. This is taken off at the time of treatment, and any remaining costs due after the discount can be paid by cash, credit, or financing solutions available at our office.
